Digestion

Whether it is food intolerances, stomach cramps, IBS, bloating, diarrhoea or constipation, the effects are the same in respect of the impact on your daily life. The great thing is that a lot of symptoms, and more importantly the underlying conditions, can be alleviated by adopting a diet that matches what our bodies were actually designed to eat.

Most people eat a diet that contains higher levels of sugars, carbohydrates and fats than ever before, and the foods are often highly processed (some to the extent that we can’t utilise it inside us) but we expect our digestive system to just deal with it.

All Delicious-Nutritious activities and foods are designed to help you get back to a natural balance which means you’re preparing and eating food that supports you!

One to one consultations are available to look at your own specific needs or you may want to get started on some practical workshops.  Either way, you can call or email Maggie to discuss the best options.

Top tip; it is so important to take time to eat – time to think, be calm and to chew. There are no teeth in the stomach and chewing also produces the vital enzymes that break down carbohydrates.

Suggested Delicious-Nutritious activities:

  2. Smoothie & Juice Making

Health on a plate

Changing your eating habits and feeding yourself health on a plate is great but it is equally important to eliminate sufficiently to clear the toxicity.

A diet high in mucus-forming foods such as dairy, wheat and meat creates a coating in the gut, making absorption of vitamins and minerals harder.
